This film is a joyous, kaleidoscopic musical odyssey, weaving play and performance into a living tribute to Prince and The Revolution. At its heart, it is a concert of selves—a shapeshifting dance between the boy I was, the “respectable” adult I became, and the eternal showman who lives in between. Catfish speaks to the fluid nature of identity, to the layers we wear, borrow, and embody—“the man behind the man behind the man.” Through music and memory, I become not just myself, but an echo and an avatar of the heroes who stirred my soul. This is a film about transformation, homage, and the magic of becoming.
