In a courthouse of mythological symbols, Lilith stands trial before her mother incarnated as Themis. As the scales condemn her “sin” of autonomy, the film exposes intergenerational trauma through visceral sacrifice imagery. When the mother exiles rather than executes her daughter, the verdict reveals maternal complicity within patriarchal systems. The final plea—”Rebirth yourself, bad daughters!”—ignites a manifesto for defiant self-creation. Through baroque aesthetics (blood-smeared scales, placental arches), the film dissects how “motherly love” becomes institutionalized violence.
