“In Times Such as These” is a film about three Black women who make history as leaders in Berkeley, California’s school district. Aware of the systemic barriers prevalent in the United States but particularly within their district, along with challenges they face as a result of being Black women in leadership roles, they devise innovative ways to confront and rectify problems with passion and optimism.
