On their wedding anniversary, although Chen Mu reluctantly allows his wife Zhou Xin to attend a social event, he still prepares a candlelit dinner carefully, waiting for her to return home. It is late into the night when Zhou Xin finally arrives, and Chen Mu notices that the stockings on her legs are missing. This convinces him that his wife has cheated on him. Unable to contain his jealousy, Chen Mu lunges at Zhou Xin in a fit of rage. However, Zhou Xin, already dead from suffocation, is suddenly enveloped in a strange blue light, and Chen Mu’s world begins to turn upside down, with everything seemingly replaying with opposite endings…
