“Rapacity” is an essay film about the layers of temporalities contained in the urban landscapes of the port region of Rio de Janeiro. A complex collage of sounds, archival materials and images that record the last 10 years of a gentrifying urban reform, and reveals the colonizing and exploratory character of the last two hundred years of occupation of the city.
