“Faded glitter, what remains is missed” evokes society’s longing for happiness and the journey through the inner haziness in seeking the promise and hope for an eternal love. How does one navigate the unavoidable tension between ego and altruism when the expectations of a loved one are unmet? What constitutes a balanced and reasonable level of self-centeredness for both oneself and the other? And, how to manage the idea of a common future when everyone says you are a “dream couple”? The film centers on liberation and the courage to tear off the bandage.
